The Freedom 2823 is a great addition to your home studio. This energy-efficient kiln offers a generous 8.34 cubic feet of interior space, and has 3-inch brick walls for insulation that means lower temperatures are required to get the results you want. A counter-weighted lid makes for easy opening and closing, and the electronic controller allows for super-simple operation. It lets you program up to six user settings (with eight settings per program), set delayed start times, and more.
The Freedom 2823 is ready to fire as soon as it arrives. It includes a furniture kit, which consists of shelves for your kiln, assorted sizes of posts, a 1-pound bag of kiln wash, and 33 assorted stilts for glazing. Also included is the Freedom kit, which includes all the supplies you need for maintenance and repair on your kiln, such as a wiring schematic, extra thermocouple, two elements (with pins, high temp connectors, and instructions), a crimping tool, and a pint of mortar. Finally, it comes complete with a stand, three peephole plugs, an instruction manual, and a manufacturer's two-year warranty.
